We offer a wonderful home from home with a nursery twist.
We are very much part of our community with weekly trips to the local leisure centre for dance classes, residential home for stay and play sessions, trips to the library and our own designated forest school leader. We work with our local council and are 1 of only 3 childcare settings to of ever received a gold award in healthy early year’s, along with platinum award with the woodland trust for our love of nature.

We accept tax free childcare and funding for all ages.
We care for 0-11 years with pick up from St Benedict school and Lordswood School. We offer a fully inclusive provision for children with SEND

I run Bugs & Bees Childminding based in Sittingbourne, Kent. I am a mum of 2 and a crafty person,
with a background in nurseries – I am excited for more focus on the child’s interests with smaller
ratios in the setting.
I have now been in childcare 5 years and hold a Level 3 Early Years certificate.
I offer childcare from 9 months to 8 years of age, term time and in the holidays too. I accept tax free childcare and funding for all ages. I let the children lead their learning with some adult lead activities mixed in. I love to bake so we will be including this in our days where we can!
I am happy that we live so close to so many lovely adventures, parks, the beach and farms to name a
few. We will visit stay and play groups as well as seasonally pick our own fruit to help further education about where our food comes from.

I’m passionate about continuing my professional development to ensure I’m providing the highest quality of care.
Residing in Larkfield, I love exploring the local community with the children, taking them on adventures to messy play sessions, soft play areas, and nearby farms. Building strong relationships with the families I work with is a top priority, and I pride myself on open communication, flexibility, and a willingness to accommodate individual needs.
